In our ongoing efforts to decrease customer latency and bandwidth for CME market data, CME is proud to introduce the Market Data Format. CME has defined the requirements for the new strategic Market Data Format which is also focused on significant additional bandwidth savings over the current RLC message format. The new service will be based on FIX and FAST for increased efficiency and will be available in Q4 of 2006. Initially, this change will affect RLC users only (ITC 2.1 changes will occur at a future date to be determined). This notice provides information regarding this new initiative, as well as a timeline for this change.
